Bob Butkus is the pastor of Christ the King EFC, in Naugatuck CT; a church plant that began with 18 people. He and his wife, Mary, are both life-long residents of Naugatuck, married in 1982, with two children, Bob Jr. and Jennifer who are both married. Mary and Bob came to Christ in their mid 30’s and quickly began to share their faith in their community. As a result of their sharing Christ with family and friends, through small group Bible studies and Gospel messages “open to the public” given by Bob, the core group of the church was formed. In April 2005 the church was birthed and Bob (plumber by trade) was called by God to become the Pastor. Today, Christ the King Church has over 100 in worship and is constantly witnessing in the community by loving God, loving others, and as they go, making disciples.
